Insurance Products
Exclusive to Alabama AGC members only, our workers’ compensation fund, CompTrustAGC, is one of the largest, most stable construction self-insured funds in the state. CompTrustAGC is the only self-insured fund in Alabama with an A.M. Best rating of A-. CompTrustAGC members also have access to AGCP&C which provides all other main lines of insurance required for contractors.
401(k) Multiple Employer Plan
By joining the Alabama AGC 401(k) Multiple Employer Plan, you can provide a powerful retirement plan, help save money and spend less time administering it. From a government standpoint, the Alabama AGC 401(k) Multiple Employer Plan is one large plan. The result for you is a plan with competitive investments, outstanding service and someone else doing most of the plan maintenance legwork.
Membership Levels & Dues
Joining Alabama AGC means becoming part of a network shaping the future of construction in our state. We offer membership levels tailored to fit businesses of all sizes, from general contractors to suppliers and industry professionals.
Alabama AGC Dues may be deducted as a business expense but not as a charitable contribution. 4.65% of your 2025 dues are not deductible in accordance with Internal Revenue Code Section 6033.
Full Member
A Full Member is a company that is state-licensed as a general contractor or specialty contractor. Dues are determined using the company’s total work volume/sales from the previous year. National dues are billed quarterly and include membership in AGC of America.

$10 million to $14.9 million | $9,000 |
$15 million to $19.9 million | $10,000 |
$20 million and above | $12,000 |
Provisional Member
Provisional membership is open to companies three years old or less that qualify as Full Members or those who have not previously been General Contractor members of Alabama AGC. Provisional member dues are $1,200 annually for three years, after which the membership will be converted to Full Member status. Dues are billed annually.
Associate Member
All members who do not qualify as a full member — such as suppliers, service providers and subcontractors who are not state-licensed as a general contractor — are considered associate members. The $725 annual dues are paid based on a calendar year.
