Construction HR & Training Professionals Gear Up for Industry Conference
Inaugural Workforce Summit to be held on-site on October 13th
New Session Announced! Nearly one month after President Biden announced a plan to require all federal employees and federal contractors to be vaccinated against COVID-19, many essential questions remain unanswered. To help contractors navigate these uncharted waters and prepare for OSHA’s pending Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) requiring all employers with 100 or more employees to require vaccinations or submit to weekly testing, we’ve added a new lunch session to this year’s agenda covering both mandates.
Each October, construction industry professionals in HR, training and workforce development gear up for the industry’s premier learning and networking event, AGC’s Construction HR & Training Professionals Conference, and this year is no different. The 2021 event will be held Oct. 14-15 at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch, in St. Louis, Missouri. Attendees will also earn HRCI credits. For more information or to register, visit here.
AGC is also holding its one-day inaugural Workforce Summit on October 13th also located at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch. AGC of America’s inaugural National Construction Industry Workforce Summit is designed to bring leaders in construction and workforce development together to find solutions to chronic worker shortages in the industry. During this day-long summit, construction and workforce development professionals will learn about successful programs that are helping recruit, develop and retain high-quality construction professionals.
