 Morris King with Vulcan Materials is serving as AlabamaAGC’s Statewide Associate President for 2023 and also serves as a member of our Work Zone Safety Committee. As part of his goals for 2023 Morris along with his dog and AGC’s Work Zone Safety Dog Millie will be sharing the importance of Work Zone Awareness to an even larger audience – including 4th graders! This year our Work Zone Safety Committee has created a coloring book designed for 4th graders to help them understand the dangers of driving through a work zone. Each of these children will be driving one day, and we feel the earlier they become aware of these dangers the more prepared they will be. We hope these same children will take this message back to the drivers in their families to remind them of Work Zone dangers. Morris and Millie will be traveling throughout the state speaking to 4th grade students throughout the year. AlabamaAGC has sponsored the printing of 1000 coloring books but so far the response from schools has been so great that we need more books printed. We are selling ads for $500. which will allow your logo to be included in the coloring book and will allow more coloring books to be provided throughout Alabama.
