Working Together to Build a Better Community
Judging is open to all Alabama AGC member firms in good standing. Sophistication of the presentation is not part of the judging for this award, but completeness in addressing each of the criteria as outlined below is essential.
Benefits of Participating

Promote your firm’s service to the community, thus enhancing your image and reputation in the marketplace.

The winning firm will be able to proudly display the BUILDSouth Community Involvement trophy in their office.

Once winners are announced, you can cite that you are an Alabama AGC Community Involvement Award winner in press releases and other marketing materials.

The winning firm will be honored with an award and a featured video at the BUILDSouth Awards ceremony.
Entry Requirements

Completed online, entry form and $150 fee.

A narrative explaining how the entry meets each of the following criteria. A maximum of 1,200 characters is allowed.

How does your organization and/or your employees give back to the community?

What need is fulfilled?

How is your dedication maintained?

Describe a community project or activity that your firm played a leadership role in.

Explain your level of engagement in the creation, organization, mobilization of volunteers, groups and resources that were involved in the project benefiting the greater community.

Depict the impact on the community.

What unique and creative approaches did you use to meet these needs?

Entries may also include media coverage, letters of commendation and other supplementary material.

A minimum of three (3) 5×7 color photos (in .jpg format, 300 dpi) and your company logo (in .jpg format).

Please package all files for submission in one (1) zip file no larger than 25 MB or, if larger, provide link to file-sharing service.

Each entry must be submitted separately using this form.
This form consists of four pages. You may save your progress and return later using the “Save and Resume Later” link at the bottom of each page. Once you hit submit entry at the end of the submission form, no other information for that entry will be accepted.
