| Attached you will find CIM 1-2023 and GASP 22-GA0036 Contractor’s Advertisement of Completion that is effective today and will be included in all contracts beginning with this month’s letting. It changes the requirements for Item 105.15(c) of the Standard Specifications, 2022 Edition, to comply with Act #2023-497. One of the changes reduces the timeframe required to advertise from 4 weeks to 3 weeks. It also modifies the completion advertisement methods to allow for advertising on a website that is maintained by a newspaper of general circulation in the county or counties in which the work, or some portion thereof, has been done, as well as advertising in the Court House for 30 days if a newspaper is not published in the county where the work was done.
