Alabama AGC is proud to announce a new partnership and membership benefit with Need2Say.
Need2Say is an interactive English/Spanish translation and training app designed to assist contractors to more successfully communicate with employees and other contractors on site.
Tested by several AGC member companies, this new tool is designed to help make jobsites safer while increasing efficiency and productivity by improving the language barriers that exist due to cultural differences and communication errors. As Need2Say Founder and CEO, Oscar R. Garcia, states, “ Our goal is to improve the Construction Industry by improving the workflow through proper communication to the construction worker. We look forward to making a lasting impact on the construction industry by working with the members of Alabama AGC.”
App subscriptions start at $9 per user per month for its starter package that provides full access to the Need2Say app and includes advanced conversational content for the construction industry, a search feature for proper words and phrasing, plus an interactive feature that provides a tool to practice phrasing and pronunciation with instant feedback. Advanced options are also available with its Enterprise Option that includes on-demand interpretation and private one-on-one tutoring for key personnel on the jobsite.
A portion of each subscription will be donated and dedicated to help fund Alabama AGC’s Construction Advancement Program that funds workforce development efforts throughout the state.
