AGC Charities, Inc. is partnering with the Penta Building Group to renovate the Shelter of Hope at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission for the association’s annual Operation Opening Doors project. The shelter provides temporary housing for women and their children who are escaping abusive relationships, addiction or experiencing homelessness.
The shelter is housed in a decades-old building with a deteriorated roof, crumbling sheet rock and unreliable bathrooms, among other problems as you can see in this video. Penta has assembled a team of Las Vegas-area subcontractors who have generously donated many of the materials and labor needed for the project. But we can’t have everything for free. Please donate today to help us purchase the materials and services needed to help restore dignity to the lives of the women and children who call the Shelter of Hope home.
With the start of AGC’s Annual Convention three weeks away, we need your support now. Our goal is to start construction by the March 9th start of the convention. There is no better way to give back to the communities that have been so good to our industry than by supporting a project like this.
