The second World of Works (WOW) is coming soon to a location near you!

 

WOW is scheduled for September 26 & 27 at North West Shoals Community College. We survived the first WOW, so let’s head to the drawing board to design our interactive displays.

 

I met with North Alabama Works and they said the 8th grade students will visit in smaller groups this year and allowed more time in each of the worlds. That was our main issue last year. See the video below showcasing  the event at Northwest Shoals.

The region’s premier hands-on career expo, featuring Alabama business and industry’s top employers and professionals, is coming to a location near you! North AlabamaWorks is bringing Worlds of Work (WOW) to Northwest-Shoals Community College on September 26-27, 2019.

 

Worlds of Work (WOW) is designed to expose youth to high-demand, high-wage, high-skill careers available in northwest Alabama. “Worlds” have been identified as potential career pathways to jobs in our region. Each “world” will provide hands-on demonstrations and interactive activities to create relevant job awareness for the students.
