Governor Kay Ivey signed the historic Rebuild Alabama Act into law yesterday, Tuesday, March 12, after the Senate overwhelmingly passed the legislation by a vote of 28-6. We are grateful for all the hard work put in by the many stakeholder organizations toward this effort. 

Thank you continuing to represent every segment of the construction industry in an effort to improve Alabama’s construction environment. 

Alabama AGC was well represented in Montgomery during the special session and our thanks go out to Rep. Bill Poole, Speaker Mac McCutcheon, Senator Clyde Chambliss and Senate President Pro Tem, Del Marsh for their hard work shepherding this legislation through the process.  And also for the support and dedication shown by Governor Kay Ivey and her team.
