TRIP Program Update:

On behalf of the Alabama Road Builders Association and the Alabama AGC, TRIP travels to Alabama for a series of seven news conferences today and tomorrow to release a statewide and regional reports with the Alabama Infrastructure Alliance. The statewide report includes regional pavement and bridge conditions, congestion and safety data, and cost breakdowns. TRIP has also prepared customized regional reports for the  Anniston-Oxford-Gadsden, Birmingham, Florence, Decatur-Huntsville, Mobile,  Montgomery and Tuscaloosa urban areas.

More details can be found in the media advisories posted on the TRIP website and the regional and statewide reports will be posted, respectively, as the each news conference kicks off. The news releases will have links to allow posting to Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, or to email a link to the document. They also have a link to info-graphics for the reports. TRIP will be tweeting with the hashtag #FixALRoads the day of the release and as news coverage is tracked. We’re @TRIP_Inc.

At the request of the Associated Contractors of New Mexico, TRIP released a state report last week at an Albuquerque news conference that generated a front-page article in the Santa Fe New Mexican headlined, “Toll of State’s Rough Roads.” Click to see other news coverage tracked so far. TRIP’s Rocky Moretti followed up the news conference by presenting testimony to the New Mexico Senate and House transportation committees.
