AGC’s Tom Robinson has been named the first Alabama AGC Loss Control Consultant of the Year. Tom Robinson was recognized this year with the inaugural award, designed to recognize the role played by these safety professionals’ partnerships with our members to make the industry safer one jobsite at a time.
“Robinson has done a tremendous job in his role as Loss Control Consultant”, said Jeff Rodgers, President of Alabama AGC Services. Robinson also serves on multiple state and national safety committees and also serves as the Director of Safety and Training for Alabama AGC. It is a challenge to balance the time demands and job duties that each role requires, and Tom has managed to do that well as evidenced with the support he has offered the 110 CompTrust members he is personally responsible for. We are proud of Tom and the great work he has performed.”
AGC’s loss control consultants visit 2,000 CompTrustAGC-member jobsites every year.
Loss Control Consultants are perhaps the most valuable resource a member of Alabama AGC can access. They provide a service with experience that few other organizations provide. Our four Loss Control Consultants personally visit hundreds of jobsites each year providing proactive advice improving the safety culture and design of each project. AGC’s Loss Control Consultants can help not only with the prevention of accidents, but in most cases, save our members money and make them more profitable.
“Loss Control Consultants are a valuable tool to AGC,” Rodgers said. “They are our eyes and ears in the field. They keep us up to date on the current trends and techniques they see utilized in the field, and are often one of the greatest tools CompTrust AGC has when making a difficult underwriting decision on a complex risk. We are extremely grateful for the work of each of our Loss Control Consultants.”
