Birmingham, AL –  Doster Construction Company is proud to announce that Allan Dedman was promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO).  As COO, he will be responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and operational success of the Company’s divisions.

With nearly 30 years in the construction industry, Dedman has been involved in close to $3 billion in projects as an executive at industry leading firms. A graduate of Auburn University and a native of Nashville, Tennessee, he has experience nationwide with a focus in the Nashville, Atlanta, Birmingham, Florida and Texas markets.

Since joining Doster in 2014, Dedman served as the Executive Vice President and provided overall leadership for the Company’s Commercial Divisions. Doster has seen controlled growth under Dedman’s leadership focusing on market differentiation and improvement in internal controls and personnel growth.  Doster is positioned for future growth in the commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, industrial and multifamily markets nationwide.
